Peaks Place Youth and Game Room
In the Peaks Place playroom “Piz Signina” the little ones get their money’s worth. From children’s books and crayons to building blocks, toy cars and a children’s kitchen, the little ones will find everything a child’s heart desires to play with. Lego? Logo! The lovingly furnished children’s room is open every day and the little ones are welcome to use it in the company of an adult!
In the youth room “Piz Fess” there is a table tennis table and a table soccer table for youngsters and the young at heart. The whole family is welcome to play one or more rounds of table football together and spend fun hours in the “Piz Fess” youth room.
Swimming fun at Peaks Place
La Senda swimming pool
The Peaks Place swimming pool La Senda promises family swimming fun par excellence. Daily from 17-19.00 is children’s time: then our indoor pool turns into a floating playground full of balls, water and diving toys. The spacious pool is part of our spa and wellness area. Families with children share the sports and swimming pool outside of children’s time with recreational and sports swimmers.
Round tour Flimserwald
The family-friendly 12 km bike tour from Peaks Place connects several highlights of the biking and hiking destination Flims Laax Falera: Mostly on forest roads, it goes through the Flims Grosswald, past the turquoise-blue Lake Cauma and up to the viewing platform “Il Spir” high above the Rhine Gorge. Here you can enjoy the view over the so-called Swiss Grand Canyon and the Alpine panorama. The return journey takes you via the famous Oligati district to Flims Waldhaus and on to the Hotel Peaks Place and the Restaurant s’nani, where the dessert menu is already waiting.

The family classic par excellence
Two mini-golf courses are within easy reach of Peaks Place by public transport or even on foot. After a short walk through the forest, you come to the well-kept, flower-lined mini-golf course „Prau la Selva“. It is located right next to the high rope park Flims, idyllically at the edge of the forest. On 18 holes, every member of the family – from small to large – can excel at mini-golf with a little skill and a good eye.
The indoor mini-golf course in the Stenna Center Flims promises varied and sporty fun for the whole family even if it should rain. The local bus takes you directly from Peaks Place to the Stenna Center – without getting wet!

High Ropes Course Flims
At the Flims High Ropes Park, within walking distance of Peaks Place, adventurous families and sports and outdoor fans climb numerous climbing courses at lofty heights. After the obligatory introduction by the high ropes park staff, nothing stands in the way of the high ropes adventure. You don’t need any climbing experience, but you do need some time! The average duration of stay in the high ropes park is about 4 hours.

Ship Ahoy in the Flims Forest
The 6-kilometer-long Connbächli has been around since the Middle Ages. It leads from Flims to Conn and winds its way through the forest and across meadows. A family hiking trail leads along the little stream – or optionally barefoot or in rubber boots through the middle of it. A special fun is to take a small wooden boat for a ride and steer it safely all the way to Conn.

Planetary educational trail
This leisurely hike is fun for the whole family: The Panorama Trail takes you from Falera via Larnags to Laax Murschetg and directly to Peaks Place. On this family hike you can enjoy the magnificent alpine panorama, the far-reaching view of the Rhine Gorge and learn interesting facts about our solar system along the way. The planetary nature trail is located on the first stage of the 4 km long, stroller-friendly high-altitude hike. Walk from planet to planet and treat yourself to an unearthly delicious dessert at the s’nani at the end.

The local bus takes you from the bus stop in front of the hotel directly to Falera to the starting point of this hike.
The high-altitude trail, which is suitable for strollers and just under 7 km long, leads from Foppa to Flims, across dry meadows and past the picturesque mountain village of Fidaz and the hamlet of Scheia. Along the way on the Romansh nature trail you will learn interesting, entertaining and curious facts about the fourth Swiss national language. Shortly before the end of the hike between Scheia and Flims, you will pass the „Plaids“ playground: the ideal place for a shorter or longer rest.
Tip: Keep looking up to the Flimserstein and, with a bit of luck, spot the eagle. With binoculars you can spot the eagle’s nest in the rock. It is located above two small firs and in spring you can even see the young birds in the eyrie.

The local bus takes you from the bus stop in front of the hotel directly to Flims valley station, where you take the chair lift to Foppa. The return journey is by local bus from Flims Post.

Ami Sabi Summer Wonderland
Whether on excursions or in the workshop: In the summer wonderland of the magician Ami Sabi, children get to know nature and the mountain world better in a playful and exciting way. The stories and adventures of Ami Sabi are penned by the well-known Grisons singer-songwriter and author Linard Bardill.
The summer wonderland is located at the Laax valley station, just a stone’s throw from Peaks Place, and welcomes children aged 4 to 12.
Off to the stalk
Hubertus Bow Park
Equipped with bow and arrow, you go stalking. At 24 posts along the trail from Crap Sogn Gion to Curnius you will practice archery and learn a lot of interesting facts about the wild animals of the region and hunting in Graubünden. The starting point for this day-long family adventure is the Laax valley station, in the immediate vicinity of Peaks Place. You can return to the hotel either on foot from Curnius or via chairlift and bus from Falera.
Sunday is family day
Where the pros of the freestyle scene train during the week, the youngsters come out in a big way on Sunday morning! For children under 6 years, the Freestyle Academy turns into a huge indoor playground. The skateboard ramp is converted into a slide or can be ridden on with Bobby-Cars and the trampolines become bouncy castles. After a well-balanced breakfast at Peaks Place, a quick trip to the Freestyle Academy with the family: Sounds like the perfect start to a Sunday, doesn’t it?
