With 224 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, five snow parks and the world’s largest halfpipe, Flims Laax provides plenty of fun on the mountain. From leisurely blue slopes to varied red runs and black runs, you’ll find everything in the family-friendly Flims Laax ski resort.
And because a day of skiing and snowboarding is always over far too quickly, you can easily extend it: either you head up the mountain before everyone else as an “early bird” in the morning, or you can also power yourself up with night skiing. A truly special family experience.
At the Flims, Laax and Falera valley stations, the children’s ski slopes offer the youngest ski fans plenty of extra safe space to make their first attempts at skiing and snowboarding.
On the Ami Sabi slope near Spalegna in Flims, you can make your first turns on blue slopes in a relaxed atmosphere. Your kids will also learn the ten FIS rules of conduct for skiing and snowboarding.
There are also many easy slopes around Alp Dado that are ideal for a relaxing day with the whole family.

The Laax Ski and Snowboard School is one of the largest in the Alps and offers a comprehensive course program. This includes ski and snowboard courses for children, teenagers and adults – both in groups and in private lessons, from beginners to professionals. Further information is available at our reception.

Sledding in Flims Laax
There are several toboggan runs for shared winter experiences away from the ski slopes. Tobogganing fun for the whole family is guaranteed.
An artificial ice rink is set up on Lake Laax every winter. When the ice cover on Lake Laax is sufficiently stable, it is also opened for skating. Ice skates can be hired from Menzli Sport at the Laax post office.
You can also ice skate all year round in the Prau la Selva Flims sports center.
Bathing fun in winter
Aua Grava
In cold temperatures, swimming fans get their money’s worth at the Aua Grava indoor pool on Lake Laax! Whether in the swimming pool with a 25-metre lane, in the non-swimmers’ pool with the adventure slide or in the children’s pool – every member of the family will find their water paradise here. As a Peaks Place guest, you can even enjoy free admission with the Spa Around wellness pass.
There’s never a dull moment in Europe’s largest indoor playground. Children and the young at heart can let off steam jumping on the trampoline or skating, while their parents linger in the café, watch and enjoy.

A fox sneaks through the Flims Laax region and takes you on the Foxtrail, the exciting scavenger hunt in Laax. Where is he hiding? Embark on an adventurous search through the winter wonderland of Flims Laax. You start your tour at the Laax tourist information office. On snow-covered paths, you can enjoy the surroundings with their white peaks and explore the small mountain villages.
