Wellness-Highlights in Flims Laax

Spa Around Discovery Tour in Flims Laax

Through the mountains of Graubünden in a bathrobe

My Spa Around adventure

Hey, I’m Helena – and I love discovering places where you can just switch off.

Flims Laax has something very special to offer: “Spa Around” – which means that in addition to the Peaks Place’s own wellness & spa, you have access to seven other wellness facilities with over 7000 m² of saunas, steam baths, relaxation rooms, pools, and much more…

I tried it out: for you – and of course a little bit for myself ;). In this blog, I’ll take you along on my journey: from the cozy spa and stylish roof terrace to the coolest water slide and a panoramic sauna…

What can you expect? Personal tips, experiences, and surprising details. So, let’s get started with wellness hopping in the mountains.

It’s that easy

My start to the Spa Around adventure

No sooner had I checked in at Peaks Place than I was already halfway into my bathrobe. At Peaks Place, I have access to Spa Around. Jackpot! I accept the challenge of discovering eight spas in Flims Laax.

Booking was very easy:

Log in to Spa Around
Choose a wellness oasis
Select a slot
& done!

Psst: Book a morning slot, it’s worth it! I often had the entire spa area to myself.

Between bathrobe and butterflies

I was able to pick up the spa bag easily at the reception desk at Peaks Place. It really had everything: a fluffy bathrobe, slippers, a large sauna towel, and a shower towel. I didn’t even have to think about anything – perfect for someone like me who is guaranteed to forget something otherwise.

With the guest card I received when I checked in at Peaks Place, I was able to take the post bus to my booked spa in Flims free of charge. (It’s easy to check the times: SBB app.) Shortly before arriving at the location, I felt a little flutter in my stomach… “What if my booking didn’t go through?” “What if I did something wrong?”

Spoiler alert: everything went smoothly! All I needed was my room card and spa bags. On the contrary, I received a warm welcome at the reception desk.

Highlight: Whirlpool grotto with fireplace

Peaks Place in Laax

My first stop on the Spa Around tour: the in-house wellness center at Peaks Place. And I can tell you right away: here, wellness becomes a little adventure!

As soon as I entered the spa, I felt like an explorer on a treasure hunt, except that the treasure here consists of cozy warmth and bubbling bubbles.

My highlight

The whirlpool grotto is truly a little gem: surrounded by rock walls, almost like a secret cave, pleasantly warm massage jets invite you to simply bubble away every sore muscle… Which was really necessary after the hike I had just done.

A fire flickers right next to the whirlpool grotto. The warm, flickering light envelops the entire room. Just close your eyes, enjoy the crackling and let your thoughts dance with the sparks…

Tip: Treat yourself to a round in the whirlpool first, then a trip to the sauna – and finally a short, brave walk through the Kneipp basin. Afterwards, you’ll feel like a new person, or at least ready for your next hike ;).

Peaks Place Wellness & Spa facilities at a glance:

  • Finnish sauna 90°C
  • Bio sauna 65°C
  • Steam bath 45-50°C
  • Kneipp basin
  • Whirlpool grotto 35°C
  • 15-meter lap pool

The spa area is really spacious at 850 m², so you can always find a quiet spot—whether in the relaxation room, on the terrace, or swimming with a view of the mountains. The Wellness & Spa area at Peaks Place is an experience for all the senses. This is where modern wellness meets alpine comfort.

Me an All Hotel in Flims

The Panorama Sauna

As soon as I walked in, I knew: I could stay here. The spa area is modern, stylish, and has just the right mix of design, tranquility, and warmth. Then there’s the panoramic sauna. The huge glass front makes it feel as if you’re sauning right inside the Flimserstein mountain. The interplay of heat and view was special. Especially when cooling down in the fresh mountain air to lower your pulse.

The spa facilities at a glance:

  • Panorama sauna 80-100°C
  • Steam bath 45-100°C
  • Sanarium 45-60°C
  • Tea & snack station
  • Relaxation room
  • Sun terrace

If you’re looking for relaxation with a view, the spa at the Me and All Hotel is the place for you! The panorama sauna is a real experience. The choice of places to relax after the sauna is endless. My favorite spot: the round swing loungers on the terrace. I could have spent hours in the sun on them.

Aua Grava in Laax

The fire pit at night

A wellness oasis with plenty of space and lots of options. Between the sauna, relaxation area, and pool, the hours fly by, especially in the fire pit: the water is like a warm embrace and the lights dance on the ceiling like northern lights in a disco mood. I completely lost track of time.

Wrapped up in my bathrobe with a view of Piz Fess, I enjoyed the peace and quiet. A space where silence says more than a thousand words.

The spa facilities at a glance:

  • Organic herbal sauna
  • Finnish sauna
  • Steam bath
  • Fire and ice pools
  • Experience showers
  • Sound room
  • Kneipp station
  • Exfoliation room
  • Tea station
  • Rock garden

A brief guide to spa etiquette

Relaxed for everyone

To ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to the spa, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Nude area: The spa area is clothing-optional—if you prefer, you can cover yourself with a towel.
  • No sweat on the wood: always place a towel underneath, including under your feet.
  • Keep calm: the spa is a place to relax. Whispering is okay – but please keep loud splashing outside 😉
  • Drink, drink, drink: sweating a lot means you need to replenish your fluids. Vitamin water, tea, or just plain water – your body will thank you for it.
